 V Senate of the Republic Commission  : debate of slaughterhouse or plants of animal benefits .

To day we have a debate of what is know in Colombia as political control which means that the government must explain positions on policies structured by the state in this occasion the foreclosure of several slaughterhouse that do not implement several upgrades required in order to be approve and Ok to operate  by the government ( environmental, health, agricultural, commerce )  this requires a strong participation of both the government (Central and municipalities) and  private sector ,from our side I see this the opportunity to implement high tech and eco efficiencies  that will result on savings and opportunities in commercialization of meat under more clean procedures and technologies.

Sep 30 2016. The Water Tax negotiation , after days of hard negotiations with the rice producers of center Colombia -Tolima dept, we had to come to an agreement in which the agricultural sector will pay a minimum fee for use of water , even do this economical instrument is both looking forward : 1.  the changing behavior and 2. the implementation of eco efficiency technologies, the economical objective cant no be accomplished due the impact on the rice producers , the complexity on the economical formula that drives the water tax make us to reevaluate some specific coefficient that no longer will help us to give a strong signal for changing behavior and implement eco efficiency technologies , therefore the agreement incorporates the will of the producers to gradually increase the water tax in 15 years, this will give them time to adopt technologies and being more efficient with the use of water simultaneously the rice producers will adopt technologies to be more efficient on use of water, regardless the economical signal presented by the mathematical formula the rice producer must adopt technologies and efficiency procedures due climate change

The Uwas indian Nation Negotiations

The difficult but fair negotiation whit   UWA's Indian Nation and The Colombian Government the last week this July  in Cubara-Boyaca in which I was part of it, a Fair Negotiation, where the Indian nation require for the nation to honor past agreements and some extra points has been finally solved after more than 3 months of civil unrest.

Some people are immerse on a huge paradox , believe it or not there still many people on strategic positions within many of our governments who still believe that growth or development means constructions, building roads, buildings etc vs sustainable development, believe it or not that  IS "business as usual" on many counties specially on our latino american countries.

The sad part for many of these low mind evolved persons is that while they live in such a darkness many of them on desition makers positions ,unfortunate the learning curve will take years for them to incorporate sustainability on their DNA or for them to wake up on an very urgent matter. I know there are many tools such as SDG which is a good example ,unfortunate its not tools such as this but the timing for these people finally open their eyes what scares me the most

hummm,, creo simplemente que en mi caso votare por  quien tiene claridad en el tema de sostenibilidad y cambio climatico y veo lamentablemente que solo uno la tiene clara con respecto a combustibles fosiles, y por este votare para alcalde , voto por la evolucion y bueno varias veces hablo de buses electricos, independizarse de combustibles fosiles , otros hablaron de vivienda, de construccion , de pavimentacion, que son temas correlacionados pero el directo culpable son los GEI generados en su inmesa mayoria por los automoviles de esta gran ciudad y solo uno lo supo esto es claridad y vision estrategica por eso para esta persona es mi es voto

My Trojan horse approach to facilitate sustainable change on a capitalistic world:

Most organizations look sustainability as a side objective or not a clear real driver to adopt it , of course we all know that sustainability is the most important asset that any organization of our days and future must assume ,however there still is a huge lack of understanding. There most be an new approach for companies, business or organizations, a way to adopt sustainability on more pragmatic way :

Back in K town Sweden many of my former classmates knew about this social approach, basically and by knowing the social capitalistic language codes we have to implement solutions using these codes as for example savings, sales, etc basically showing the numbers! on potential real projects to our clients , of course one most show this numbers with solid studies that support these figures, once our client is in the ah ha moment and see the $$$ benefits, and then, they hired you! ,you start to show these numbers (may take some months initially) by implementing the eco solutions that drives savings, sales and other economic benefits by for example eco-efficiencies, then, the real change starts by implementing the Trojan horse strategy that is changing people minds and hearts trough coaching (ei. FSSD) and measurable matters (ei. green balance scorecard ) that ensure the right path towards a real sustainable vision. Is always difficult to find an organization to implement the Trojan horse but once you really implemented is great how it really becomes part of the DNA of people and organizations. Once they adopted for their initial ($) driver, then, it can not be stop it anymore: a Trojan horse.

The end of British Petroleum or BP´S strategic Transformation

Whose to blame on the Oil Spill of the Gulf of Mexico?, I should say there are two answers; 1. the Easy answer BP,, 2. the real answer is US! Yea our society is the one to blame we are addict to dirty oil, unfortunable these are the kind of catastrophes’ that become a wake up call for governments to shift to clean energy, I remember back in Sweden we present the case of BP Solar and BP Wind as cases in which the oil industry is trying to shift towards a sustainable clean energy , after the gulf spill catastrophes and the fact that BP may have their final days on a medium term due the law suits, clean up payments and the most important nobody will like to make business with such a company,, I am wondering shouldn´t consider create an capitalized as much as they can their efforts on sustainable clean energy , I mean there a lot of people that work on BP and BP trade mark is now totally associated to major pollution, etc, an strategic advisor a good one will see this as an opportunity to redirect efforts into a sustainability path sort of offsetting their major previous mistakes, helping somehow in the recovery of the gulf, put all or most of their revenues into clean energy and sustainable projects , eliminate at maximum their drilling operation, or gradually shift it core business into clean energy and sustainability. Anyway the gulf of Mexico, all it´s biodiversity, the people of the zone areas the real victims or I should say we are victims of our major and sick dependency on oil. Of course as you all may know: WE MUST CHANGE!, However and unfortunable we need major steps from our governments, leaders and companies. The good thing you can do a lot to reduce or ELIMINATE the oil consumption on a personal scale, so at the end it´s a matter of CHANGE or not , or I should say Change will come but when? , can we do it before is to late?,, sometimes I am afraid that will takes us many catastrophes like this or whorst,, such is humane nature. One only can really hope that we dont have to deal with this issues no more.
