BTH is also deemed to be the best in Sweden and in third place within Europe for sustainable development, according to a report from the Alliance for Global Sustainability in 2009.
Two BTH researchers in sustainability were ranked among the top six in the world by The Globe Sustainability Research Award in 2011. The two researchers are Göran Broman and Karl-Henrik Robèrt.
